EMCC Jubilee Appeal

Marking 25 Years of Service

UPDATE published on 21 November 2022: While the EMCC Jubilee Celebration lunch itself has taken place on 18 November and it’s no longer possible to book a table at the lunch, the EMCC Jubilee Appeal is still open.  All donations made to this campaign by 31 December 2022 will be matched by the government.  All donations of $50 and above will qualify for 2.5 times tax deduction.

This year, Eagles Mediation & Counselling Centre (EMCC) is marking 25 years of service to the Singapore community. Since its establishment in 1997, EMCC has been providing counselling and mediation services to build and strengthen resilient individuals and families, as well as training and education programmes to promote better mental health in Singapore. Over the course of 25 years, we have helped thousands of adults and youth overcome mental health challenges, resolve conflicts, strengthen marriages, and repair relationships.

As part of our Jubilee celebrations, we are organising a Jubilee Appeal with a fundraising luncheon on 18 November 2022 (Friday).

Event:   EMCC Jubilee Celebration

Date:     Friday, 18 November 2022

Time:     12 noon – 2 pm

Venue: VOCO | Orchard Singapore

We would very much appreciate it if you or your corporation/organisation would support the appeal by booking a table at the luncheon or making an outright donation of any amount.  All donations have a tax deduction value of 2.5 times.

The donations raised through this Jubilee Appeal will be vital for EMCC to be able to continue our mission.

Over 80% of our clients (4 out of 5) pay subsidised rates. These include lower-income families, students, young working adults, and individuals in helping professions such as social workers and frontline healthcare staff. Donations therefore enable individuals and families who need financial support to get the help they need.

The high percentage of subsidised clients also means that the income from fees is insufficient to cover our costs of running the centre. Donations therefore are critical for covering the costs of maintaining the counselling rooms and training facilities.

We would like to appeal to corporations, foundations and individuals to donate generously to the EMCC Jubilee Appeal. Your donation will be matched dollar for dollar under the government’s Enhanced Fundraising programme.
