2. How many members are there in a support group?
We are aiming for 5-10 members in each support group.

 3. Who will be running the support group?
An experienced registered Counsellor from EMCC will be running the support group. Sharing among members will generally be peer-facilitated.

 4. Is the sharing in the support group private and confidential?
Yes, the discussion is completely private and confidential and will not be recorded. We will emphasise and remind all members at the start of every session that information discussed during the support group sessions is not to be shared outside of the group.

5. What language is the support group conducted in?
The support group will be conducted in English.

6. Will I be meeting the same members at every session?
Yes, you will from session 2 onwards. We may include new members who missed the first session but none after session 2.

 7. What if I miss a session?
We hope that all members will commit to all 5 sessions to avoid disruption to the growth and sharing among members in the group.  There will be no make-up sessions.

 8. Do I have to pay for the support group sessions?
No, you do not have to pay for the sessions. We hope that all members will make the effort to commit to full attendance to benefit from the programme.

The main purpose of this support group is to provide support for those who are seeking employment at the moment. However, if you are in job transition, taking a break from employment or facing challenges in the workplace and feel that this support group may benefit you, do sign up and a counsellor will call you to have a chat with you about the group’s suitability for your needs.
