EMCC Jubilee
This year, EMCC is marking 25 years of service to the Singapore community. Since 1997, EMCC has helped thousands of adults and youth overcome mental health challenges, resolve conflicts and repair relationships, through our services and programmes.
As part of our celebrations, we are organising a Jubilee Appeal with a fundraising luncheon on 18 November 2022 (Friday) to raise donations and show appreciation to our partners and supporters.
The funds raised through this Appeal will enable EMCC to continue to provide counselling and mediation services, as well as training and education programmes.
Over 80% of our clients (4 out of 5) pay fees at subsidised rates. These include lower-income families, students, young working adults, and individuals in helping professions such as social workers and frontline healthcare staff. Donations therefore enable individuals and families who need financial support to get the help they need.
The high percentage of subsidised clients also means that the income from fees is insufficient to cover our costs of running the centre. Donations therefore help cover the costs of maintaining the counselling rooms and training facilities.
All donations have a tax deduction value of 2.5 times.
